His research has led to awards and acclaim in the US, the United Kingdom and Germany. His involvement in fuel cell research and development includes work at Los Alamos National Laboratory and has led to membership in the Royal Society of Chemistry, among others. He currently collaborates with the Max Planck Institute in Stuttgart, Germany, Cambridge University in England, and New York University.
