Michael Higdon is the director of the College of Law's Legal Writing Program. His scholarship, focusing on family law, legal writing, and sexuality, gender, and the law, has been published in several journals, including the UC Davis Law Review, the Wake Forest Law Review, and the Indiana Law Journal. Prior to coming to UT, he taught a variety of courses at the University of Nevada Boyd School of Law, including legal research and writing, family law, trusts and estates, legal drafting, advanced advocacy, and pretrial litigation.
