Mark DeKay specializes in sustainable design theory and practice. His research seeks to help the profession create zero-carbon and plus-energy buildings and communities. He has written several books and publications, including the seminal book on integral theory in design, a two-volume set about climatic design, and large applied planning studies of green infrastructure for downtowns and watersheds.
