LeAnn Luna holds a joint appointment as an associate professor with the Department of Accounting and Information Management and the Boyd Center for Business and Economic Research, both of which are in the Haslam College of Business. Her research on e-commerce and §529 college savings plans has received national attention. Luna has published in journals including Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of the American Taxation Association, National Tax Journal, Journal of State Taxation, and Public Finance Review. She is a certified public accountant and prior to teaching amassed nearly a decade of corporate experience that included senior positions with an international accounting firm and private industry.
