Brad Collett specializes in landscape architecture, low-impact development, community planning and design, landscape design, landscape performance, sustainable design, and regional development. Prior to joining UT, he worked with EDSA, an international landscape architecture firm specializing in the planning and design of resort and ecotourism destinations, mixed-use communities, town centers, urban reinvestment projects, cultural and educational environments, and corporate campuses. Collett is the landscape architecture program's liaison to the university's Smart Communities Initiative. Through this initiative, landscape architecture studios develop demonstration projects that explore sustainable regional growth around the state of Tennessee.
